FORT WORTH, Texas — Will Malcom scored his fifth goal of the game in overtime to complete an eight-point night and lead the Panther City Lacrosse Club to a 17-16 victory over the Saskatchewan Rush in the NLL Saturday.
Patrick Dodds, Phil Caputo and Dean Fairall contributed two goals apiece for the Texas-based Panther City (3-8), winners of two in a row.
Nathan Grenon had a goal and six assists while Nick Damude made 38 saves.
Mark Matthews, with three goals and three assists, and Dan Lintner, with three goals and one assist, powered the offence for Saskatchewan (3-7).
Adam Shute and Eric Penney split the goaltending duties for the Rush.
Saskatchewan outshot Panther City 54-42.
